FUNDRAISING GOALS Purchasing tubas for the band is a priority this year. In addition, maintaining the budget allocated for music and dance instructional support of students is another very important goal.
PERSONAL ACCOUNTS Fundraising is an opportunity to build up personal student accounts for upcoming events - Solo & Ensemble fees, the Spring Band Field Trip, the Band Trip for 2009-2010, and Band Banquet. If band fees are paid in full, profits from the door to door fundraisers (HoneyBaked products and Christmas Trees and Wreaths) go directly to the students' personal accounts.

Winter Showcase Performance, Silent Auction

Winter Showcase will be held in December. It gives the band, dance team and color guard a chance to show off their many talents. All band classes perform, plus students perform music and dance of their own composition. It is an incredible evening!

Guests will also be able to place initial bids in the silent auction on themed baskets before the showcase begins. At this time, donations of baskets are needed for the creation of the themed baskets to be auctioned. Also needed are items from parents, local businesses and services for the silent auction. Examples - two hours of tutoring or music lessons provided by a teacher/parent, manicure/pedicure from a local shop, a wedding cake or flowers from a specialty baker or florist, the list is limitless. The themes will be selected for each section of the band - flutes, percussion, etc.
